Crouse met Samuel Mitrani in Chicago, IL in early 1996 in the course of preparing for the Scavenger Hunt performed by undergraduate students for the University of Chicago. Mitrani was in the adjacent hall (Vincent) from Crouse’s (Chamberlain) (into which she later moved after transferring houses in Burton-Judon dormitory). Mitrani was the driver of the vehicle, licensed as and owned by him, and transported in addition to Crouse James Luecht (also the first meeting between Mitrani and Luecht). That year Vincent House was the winner of the Scavenger Hunt. Crouse and Mitrani along with Luecht briefly co-resided in an apartment on the South Side of Chicago in 1997 that had formerly served as the location for guest quarters of attendees at the World’s Columbian Exposition in 1893.
Crouse met Lily Wong in San Francisco, CA after Wong became employed in a concurrent position to Crouse’s with Community Vocational Enterprises, Inc., contracting with the San Francisco Department of Public Health in April of 2011.
Crouse met Adam and Ahmed Dawas upon entering her Radiographic Film Interpretation Level II class at Birring Institute in Harris County, TX in April of 2017. Walid Dawas was in the class that preceded the one Crouse entered with Dawas and Dawas.
Crouse met Karina Camarillo while attending Mission Hope, Faith and Peace in Chicago, IL. Camarillo was in a board position at the mission where Crouse provided administrative support.
Crouse “met” Dave Mustaine in a telephone interview performed while Course was Managing Editor of StreetWise newspaper in Chicago and Mustaine was preparing for his appearance with Megadeth at a benefit concert in Washington, DC in the summer of 1999. The resultant article was later published in the premier issue of StreetWise DC newspaper.
Crouse met James Park as part of civic participation and social activities made available to residents of Treasure Island in San Francisco, CA in 2012. Both were residents of the man-made island which was in the process of being fully decommissioned from its former status as a United States military installation and training facility and also home to the Golden Gate International Exposition of 1939 in San Francisco.
Crouse met Hadeel Assali while involved with political organizing and civic activities in Chicago, IL in 1999. Assali was a student of engineering and Crouse was Managing Editor of StreetWise newspaper.
Crouse met Jed Daly as part of civic participation and in benefit of Daly’s employment at a social institution at Treasure Island in San Francisco, CA in 2012. In 2013 Crouse and Daly briefly co-resided in the same apartment on the man-made island which was in the process of being fully decommissioned from its former status as a United States military installation and training facility and also home to the Golden Gate International Exposition of 1939 in San Francisco.
Crouse met Sandy Juarez in Santa Cruz, CA in January of 2010 after first arriving in California from Chicago, IL. Crouse was to further acquaint herself with Juarez after Crouse moved to San Francisco and Juarez moved to Oakland, CA where both ended up working in different manners in the healthcare sector.
Crouse met Elliott Feldman as part of civic participation and social activities made available to residents of Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Island in San Francisco, CA in 2012. Crouse was a resident of the man-made Treasure Island while Feldman was a resident in the adjoining natural island of Yerba Buena. At that time Treasure Island was in the process of being fully decommissioned from its former status as a United States military installation and training facility and also home to the Golden Gate International Exposition of 1939 in San Francisco. Yerba Buena was instrumental in the construction of the new Bay Bridge connecting San Francisco with Oakland, CA at the time of their meeting.
Crouse met Shih-An Shzu in December of 2023 at a membership meeting of the Northern Texas Chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America. Shzu was leading political education committee activities at the time of their meeting.
Crouse met Catherine Jefcoat while Jefcoat was at DePaul University and Crouse was Managing Editor of StreetWise newspaper in 1998.
Crouse met and was hosted by Touffic Haddad in Ramallah, Palestine in 2002 while Crouse was engaged in self-funded freelance reportage and Haddad was Co-Editor of Between the Lines Magazine. Crouse further met and was hosted by Haddad in subsequent visits to Palestine and hosted Haddad in Chicago during a speaking tour in 2004.
Crouse met Elaine Chang as part of civic participation and as a benefit of Chang’s employment in management at a social institution on Treasure Island, CA in 2012. Crouse was also an observer participant in Chang’s work as an instructor with the local mural project Precita Eyes, which was provided with coverage by El Tecolote newspaper in the Mission District during the time frame wherein Crouse was English-language Copy Editor from October 2010 through April 2011.
Crouse met Tae while in need of social service assistance in Chicago, IL in 2016.
Crouse met Brian Straight upon beginning high school at Quantico High School, Quantico, VA. Both along with Erin Coyne were members of Quantico High School Class of 1995. Straight was Salutatorian of the Class of 1995; Crouse was the Senior Class Treasurer.
Crouse met James Luecht in September of 1995 upon return to Virginia and in anticipation of both starting their first year of college at the University of Chicago. Both Virginians were introduced to each other based upon Coyne having previously met Luecht during an educational event the previous summer. Crouse and Luecht along with Mitrani briefly co-resided in an apartment on the South Side of Chicago in 1997 that had formerly served as the location for guest quarters of attendees at the World’s Columbian Exposition in 1893.
Crouse met Erin Coyne while attending high school at Quantico High School, Quantico, VA. Both along with Straight were members of Quantico High School Class of 1995. Coyne was Valedictorian of the Class of 1995; Crouse was the Senior Class Treasurer.

Crouse met Cordell Thompson while under his supervision along with Wong at the San Francisco Department of Public Health, Operations and Facilities Management Unit, beginning in April of 2011. Thompson supervised preparation for the civil service exam that Crouse took in June of 2013.
Crouse met Tyrone Navarro while under his supervision along with Wong, Thompson and Maranon at the San Francisco Department of Public Health, Operations and Facilities Management Unit, in April of 2011. Navarro was the Director of Operations.

Crouse met Amy Traub upon commencement of the first year of undergraduate study at the University of Chicago in October of 1995. Both were residents of Chamberlain House in Burton-Judson Hall. Both were also later members of the Democratic Socialists of America.
