Post 109: Cessation of Sanctions on Russia's Defense Industrial Base and the Russian Duma and Members - 4.2.2025

As of April 2, 2025, the sanctions placed via "U.S. Treasury Sanctions Russia’s Defense-Industrial Base, the Russian Duma and Its Members, and Sberbank CEO" on "Russia’s Defense-Industrial Base [and] the Russian Duma and Its Members" as of Feb. 24, 2022 are ceased.


Sanctions concerning the financial sector and any gold available with or through the Central Bank of the Russian Federation remain.


At this time, an audit on any public bonds -- including municipal bonds -- issued by or through any United States bank or financial institution is to be performed specifically in accordance with identifying any Russian nationals or entities associated with or registered through the Russian Federation as bond holders or otherwise invested in the bond offer of concern. This audit is to be commenced immediately and to be completed within 5 days.
